Applicant overview: The Network was established in 1985 in response to the lack of resources available for the social development and education of young children which looked at racism in society. The main focus of Network activities is to instruct the trainers of practitioners working with young children in addressing racism, as well as providing educational resources to engage young children in the issue of racism. Nature of support: In 2001 the Trust agreed to offer three annual grants of £20,000 per annum towards the salary of a co-ordinators post.
