Applicant overview: NICHS was established in 1973 in an effort to provide social and educational support to disadvantaged children and families across the Belfast sectarian divide. NICHS operates three programmes that cover individuals between the ages of nine and fifteen. Nature of support: In 1999 the Trust approved three annual grants of £8,000, £8,500 and £9,000 to the Scheme. Three further grants of £9,500 were approved in 2001.
