Applicant overview: CU is an international relief and development organisation with a strong focus on Africa as well as an active programme in Londonderry through the CIC which is registered as a separate charity. CIC teaches across the sectarian divide through the medium of third world development studies. This includes establishing contacts between the local community and CU contacts in South America and Africa. CU was established in 1976 and became a registered charity that same year.
