Applicant overview: Concord Films is a distributor of films on peace, education, development, race relations etc. Its catalogue is the most complete of any agency in the field. CFC commissioned a number of films including a programme aimed at a youth audience on coping with violence. Nature of support: The Trust provided a single £5,000 grant to support a CFC commissioned film for young people on coping with violence. Subsequent requests for support on further film projects were not approved owing to the concern that CFC was moving away from distribution and towards production.
