In 1964 was made a life peer, Baron Caradon. He was active in international peace issues in Africa and the Middle East and wrote on the dangers of the global population explosion. Nature of support: The Fund continued to make grants towards secretarial expenses incurred by Lord Caradon. A number of grants were also made to enable Lord Caradon to travel, primarily to the Middle East, to conduct research and meet parties interested in the peace process.
