The Middle East Research and Action Group (MERAG) provides an information service to the media, the peace movement and student groups among other activities. Dr. Uri Davis convened a number of projects through the University of Bradford School of Peace Studies including volunteer programmes. The Trust worked closely with the Lansbury House Trust Fund, an organisation involved in peaceful conflict resolution. Nature of support: The activities of the School of Peace Studies at the University of Bradford were supported by the Trust (one third of expenditures in the 'Peace' portfolio) though further applications to fund the Volunteers for Palestine Project were declined.
