| Description | Grant file containing correspondence, file sheet, terms of grant, payments summary, job description, project proposals and funding requests relating to the South Armagh Community Forum (SACF). Funding source(s): Barrow Cadbury Trust. Applicant overview: The Forum was established by a number of local community groups in County Armagh to consolidate the work carried out by these organisations and to secure a more independent and stable foundation for current social development work. The three principle aims of SACF are to, 1) develop a community trust for the area, 2) highlight and profile the work of some selected projects in the region with a view to influencing a number of key players/funders in Northern Ireland in how valuable social development work can be mainstreamed, and 3) identify within the area pockets of disadvantage where individuals heretofore have not engaged in community development and civic engagement work. Nature of support: In 2004 the Trust agreed to grants totalling £30,000 to fund a part-time worker for SACF. Minutes: TM/04/05-16. Notes: File organised from newest to oldest. File not numbered. |
