Based in Sparkbrook, where a majority of the local community are from minority ethnic backgrounds, it provides services for local women regardless of religious background, colour, nationality or status. The organisation works hard to engage young girls and women from minority backgrounds who would not normally try to influence local decision making. Nature of support: In 2005 the Trust agreed to a grant of £24,907 over three years to deliver a capacity building programme for black and minority ethnic women in local democratic processes.
