Its aim is to help and educate young people, especially, though not exclusively, through their leisure time activities, so to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and as members of a society and that their condition of life will improve. Nature of support: In 1981 the Fund approved a grant of to the Handsworth Employment Scheme so that its UYA members could visit similar organisations in Lewisham and Lambeth.
