Funding source(s): Barrow and Geraldine S. Cadbury Trust. Applicant overview: The APGRR was formed in July 1984 with the support of seventy MPs from various political parties. The Trust provided the funding for an executive secretary. The Group exists to act as a source of information for members on race relations matters, to issue reports and establish ties with black organisations. Nature of support: In 1984 the Trust approved a grant of £12,000 for the running costs of the APGRR. In 1986 the Trust made an additional grant of £350 toward occasional secretarial expenses.
