Three MPs, Bernie Grant, Keith Daz and Diane Abbot constituted the PBC. The PBC offers a forum in which black representatives can meet together to discuss issues of common concern. The PBC approached the Fund for administrative support for their work in 1987 and applied formally in 1988.
