The objectives of the Council are to promote the welfare of the young in any matter which now is or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable within the area of Walsall, and further, shall promote the social, physical, recreational, moral, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing of its members. Specific areas of operation include education, young people and housing and welfare. Nature of support: In 1977 the Trust approved two annual grants at £3,500 per annum towards staff costs. In 1979 further annual grants were approved at £5,500 for two years. In 1981 a final eighteen-month grant was approved to ACYC. A single grant of £1,500 was made towards a training workshop.
