WASH is a group of women with legal, counselling, employment and women's rights experience. In addition to advising individuals WASH offers advice and training to trade unions, management, voluntary organisations, women's groups and local authorities. WASH works with other lawyers to develop legal strategies on sexual harassment, sends speakers to interested groups and participates in media coverage of the issue and gives interviews to the press. WASH is based in London. Nature of support: In 1991 the Trust approved an initial twelve-month grant of £20,000 to contribute towards salaries and overhead costs.
