Nature of support: A number of grants were made by the Trusts and Fund. In 1978 the Trust approved a grant of up to £200 for equipment needs and £20 per week for a supervisor for the Latch Key Club at Westminster School, Lozells. In 1979 the Trust made a single grant of £400 to SAME. This was later returned. In 1982 the Paul S. Cadbury Trust made a grant of up to £6,500 for an Environmental Studies Resources Officer post at the Birmingham LEA. In 1984 the Trust agreed to three annual grants of £500 to the Waterford-Kamhlaba School. In 1987 the Trust made a grant of between £1,000 and £2,000 to NAPCE.
