Applicant overview: HADS was established by NACRO in 2001 for the purpose of establishing a network of prison-based housing advice centres and to promote the housing needs of prisoners with housing providers and other related organisations. Nature of support: In 2000 on the advice of Penal Affairs Programme Relevant Trustees two annual grants of £35,000 were approved for 2001/2002 and 2002/2003 to appoint a housing advice centre development officer.
