Applicant overview: PLTW is a registered charity which evolved from an initial partnership in 1999 between the Pakistani Mentoring Partnership, Pakistani Youth Forum, Second City Second Chance and the Bangladeshi Youth Forum. PLTW provides support to young Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Somali, Sudanese and Yemeni people who are at risk of failing, underachieving or offending. PLTW maintains that connecting young people with mentors who share the same cultural background provides these young people with the ability to integrate and the confidence to achieve.
