It was founded by Lloyd Robinson, a community worker supporting young people in Handsworth and Lozells who identified the value of engaging with young people around their main areas of interest, music, and through this to promote the role that education and training can play in realising their ambitions and aspirations for the future. Nature of support: In 2008 the Fund made a grant of £7,550 to carry out a feasibility study in 2008/2009 identifying employment pathways and overcoming barriers to technical occupations in the music industry for young people at risk, or with a history of, involvement in the criminal justice system.
