BRAMU's remit is to address racial attacks at all levels. The Unit operates through casework to provide immediate support to people subject to racial attack. BRAMU directly assists in building cases against perpetrators and actively urges statutory and voluntary bodies to stop attacks. BRAMU is also a training, information and monitoring agency, working with individuals and groups to prevent racial attacks throughout the city.
