Applicant overview: The Training Budget was originally part of the Neighbourhood Development Fund (NDF) budget. The NDF was established in 1985 and is used for small neighbourhood development grants, usually no more than £1,000 to be paid through the Paul S. Cadbury Trust or the Barrow Cadbury Fund Ltd. In 1988 the Training Budget was moved out of the NDF and the Technical Advice Budget was moved in to the NDF. Nature of support: The Training Budget was set at £5,000 each for the Fund and the Paul S. Cadbury Trust for the year 1988/1989 though this was subsequently increased. Total grants paid for this period amounted to £7,683.69. Recipients include Hall Green College, Balsall Heath Association, Birmingham Volunteer Bureau, Westhill College - Polish Exchange Youth and Community Workers, Mog Ball, Woodway Park Outreach Centre, Westhill College, Workers Educational Association, Gloucester Tenants Association, University of Birmingham School of Continuing Studies, Community Activists Training Exchange, University College, Swansea, Art Link and the St. Christopher's Centre, Dudley.
