Applicant overview: In 1983 the CVS National Association instigated a one-year pilot project to explore ways of improving the capacity of local development agencies to develop strategies for planning and meeting their resource needs. This project was subsequently expanded into a training officer post. Nature of support: In 1985 the Trust agreed to three annual grants of £3,000 to support a CVS training officer role.
