Applicant overview: BHRAG was established together with the Calthorpe Park East Residents Action Group (CPERAG) and the Cannon Hill Residents Action Group (CPHAG) out of the Balsall Heath Association (BHA). BHRAG aims to increase the involvement of residents in the improvement of their neighbourhood under various Urban Renewal programmes. BHRAG works to improve public services and act against vandalism, neglected infrastructure, crime and the dilapidation of properties. Nature of support: In 1979 the Trust approved a single grant of approximately £2,000 to enable BHRAG and its sister organisations to employ a joint part-time secretary.
