| AdminHistory | Banner Theatre of Actuality was intially established as an arm of the Grey Cock Folk Club. It was organised around a core of professional [although not always funded] performers, with a larger 'main' group of interested amateurs. Specific productions were initially funded by trades unions, and grants were also sought from arts funding bodies. After a period of consolidation as a dedicated campaigning theatre troupe, it was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee on 17/04/1980 and adopted the title 'Banner Theatre of Actuality'. |
