The bulk of the papers in the file relate to a conference at Stoke Rochford Hall, near Grantham in Lincolnshire.

One copy of a booklet 'People and the Press'[nd] is included. Published by Liverpool Free Press, it is billed as a handbook for tenants, workers and others who deal with the media.

A photcopied article by Gillian Dyer is included. 'Teaching about Television Interviews' [nd] considers aspects of interviewing based on aspects of a Communicatiosn Studies course at Sheffield City Polytechnic.

This file contians a copy of 'Introduction to the Language of Image and Sound' by Jean-Pierre Gelay was published by the Educational Advisory Service of the British Film Institute in 1972.

A list of 50 short films for English and film study is included. undated, this list is issued by the Department of English at Shoreditch College.

A copy of the Oldbury News Telephone newspaper is included. Dated 03/05/1979, this includes a report on a public meeting by the National Front in Cronehills School, West Bromwich and anti-racist demonstration by Sandwell Campaign against Racism and Fascism [SCARF]. A protest march from Lozells to West Bromwich is also described.
