AdminHistory'Written by Stuart Brown, this show focused on the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act of 1994 [CJA] and the resistance to it by a wide range of groups. These included Anti- M11 link road campaigners, disabled activists, 'new age' travellers, gypsies, squatters and 'footballers agaisnt the CJA'. Interviews were conducted with members of these groups as research for the show and also as recorded actuality which with song was intercut into the performance. These portrayals of experiences of groups affected by the legislation contrasted with the satirical illustration of the Act's wider legal and political implications. This production built on and developed Banner's links with community activists.
