Description	This envelope contains transcripts of interviews with Don Perigrove about the 'Saltley Gate' industrial actions. An insight is given to the events surrounding the dispute, including relations between police and pickets. Support for pickets from local women is discussed, as is the support of factory workers. Reference is made to prejudice amongst miners against black people, as is the support received by pickets from black and Asian workers. These interviews were recorded in the winter of 1973 for later incorporation into Banner's production.
