Description	This envelope contains transcripts of interviews with Haydn Matthews [Secretary of Maerdy Lodge, NUM South Wales] about the 'Saltley Gate' industrial actions. An insight is given to the events surrounding the dispute, including relations between police and pickets. Industrial relations, productivity agreements and proposals for pit closures on the South Wales coalfields are also discussed. These interviews were recorded on 18/12/1973 for later incorporation into Banner's production.
