Description	This file contains typescripts of interviews conducted by Charles Parker with Arnold Moyle for 'The Big Hewer'. These show tape and track information. Typescripts of filmed interviews with Mr and Mrs Brailsford of Deal and miners at the Welfare Hall, Ammanford are also included. Philip Donellan and Charles Parker conducted the interviews. [Donnellan produced a TV production of 'The Big Hewer' and this also was an early working title for Banner's 'Collier Laddie'] These transcripts are concerned with general aspects of mining, industrial relations and life in mining communities. They do not discuss the industrial action at Saltley Gate. However, in a pocket of this file is a bundle of photocopied and annotated transcripts of interviews concerning that dispute.
