| Description | Two signed copies of Samuel Galton jnr's printed Address, in which he defends himself against a process instituted to disown him from a member of the Society of Friends, and refutes claims that his involvement in the gun manufacturing business is inconsistent with the religious principles of the Society. The Address includes a copy of a Minute of the Monthly Meeting of Birmingham, held at Tamworth in 1795 which raised the issue. |
