One of the recordings of Gambian traditional folk song and music also includes brief interviews of people by Charles Parker on China and the Revolution (MS 4000/5/1/20/9). Some of the recordings have been released on record labels such as Decca, Folkways and Ethnic Folkways Library or as BBC radio recordings and this has been noted in the title of each catalogue description.
