Track 3: Duration (min/sec): 15.20 Description of track: Live music recordings; some speech during music rehearsals; explanation by unnamed male to Charles Parker on a tour around Wortley Hall of who is rehearsing, the layout of the rooms available to the musicians etc Charles Parker comments on the tour; extracts of background music and instruction from various rehearsals and rooms visited throughout the tour
Track 4: Duration (min/sec): 11.10 Description of track: Charles Parker interviews the deputy conductor of the CWS Manchester Band; he talks about originating from South Wales; Charles explains that he is from the BBC and involved in the production of the Radio Ballads and interested to see what happening at Wortley Hall; interviewee been playing brass for 38 years; talks about brass playing and music
