| Description | The talk is illustrated with examples of drumming and wind instruments from Africa, South America, Australia, Rumania etc. In the programme of talks organised by the W.E.A. for 1967 -1968, Charles Parker was the tutor for 24 meetings on 'Folk Song and Folk Studies - An Historical Survey.' Included in this course were six lectures by A.L.Lloyd on the world history of folk music. The next lecture in this series by A.L.Lloyd can be found on MS 4000/5/3/5//39.
