AdminHistory'Hootenanny' was a series of six programmes produced by Charles Parker using material from folk sessions recorded at the Princess Louise pub, Holborn, London, known as 'The Ballads and Blues Club'. The sessions were presented by Ewan MacColl and featured Peggy Seeger, A.L. Lloyd, Fitzroy Coleman, Dominic Behan and others. A follow-up programme 'Son of Hootenanny' was broadcast, which featured interviews with members of the audience at the folk sessions. Tapes containing two more programmes survive in the archive, although the notes on the boxes and in the project files suggest that they were not broadcast.
