| Description | Willy Jones, a South Wales miner, continues talking about his background and life as a miner since 1902. He tells stories of family ties in the mines, accidents, injuries, explosions, deaths and the danger of all the men in a family working in the dangerous mining environments. He discusses some of the different jobs he has experienced as a miner. He talks about working with and without lighting in the mines, mining technology, left wing political views, the lack of singing expression in, or about, the mining experience in South Wales. He also talks about the experience of separation of the mine workers, distances and travel underground.
