Tracks 1 - 7 are a continuation of the recording of the Durham Gala. Tracks 1 - 6 record Hugh Gaitskell's address to the Gala as Leader of the Labour Party. Mr Whitney, the U.S. Ambassador to Britain gives a short speech on Track 7.
Tracks 8 - 12 record an unspecified Christian religious service, perhaps at Durham Cathedral. Music is on Tracks 8 - 9 and 11, whilst recitations are on Tracks 10 and 12.
