McHugh talks about the difference between working in London and working in Scotland, and his first impressions of London. He talks about working on the building of a branch of the University College Hospital, London. He speaks about his colleagues on that building project, and what work he had to do there. He speaks about enjoying working on that job, but about abuse he received in London for being Irish.
