DescriptionIn addition to the 'Modern Love Songs' programme, this series also contains a recording of a programme entitled 'Seeds of Love', presented by A. L. Lloyd and broadcast on the BBC Third Programme, focusing on amatory folk songs. It is likely that Charles Parker and Alasdair Clayre were influenced by the format and content of this programme when making 'Modern Love Songs', and 'Seeds of Love' was the provisional title of 'Modern Love Songs'.
