He describes the experience of losing his sight as a child and talks about the differences at the school between children who have been blind from birth and those who have had sight in identifying objects. He talks about modelling clay, his dependence on his hands, being able to make things from his imagination, the kind of things he likes to model and how he works out the proportions. He describes his feelings about going out to new places, his fears of making mistakes and the reactions of other people (tracks 3-6).
