They explain how different machines are used, and how they were taught about them. They talk about their worries about not being able to use the machines and how they overcame them. They demonstrate how to use gears and the functions of cutting tools and talk about skills they found difficult to learn. They describe how they listen carefully to the normal sounds of different tools and concentrate on the normal touch of other tools to avoid injury (tracks 1-5).
