Interview with Theresa Edwards from Manchester, a student at Harborne. She talks about attending St Vincent's School for blind and partially sighted children in Liverpool for thirteen years, and about her time at Harborne. She talks about her dislike of some of the jobs she has to do and her hopes to work in childcare. She discusses reading and using braille and describes her condition. She talks about her childhood, her family background and attending St Vincent's from an early age. She talks about other blind and partially sighted girls that she knows being less independent and feeling self conscious but thinks that blind people are just as capable to look after children. She describes some of the problems that her friends have with travelling to new places (tracks 2-6).
Interview with David Smith from Halesowen, a student at Harborne. He talks about taking part in training to use a three point perspective grid with Mr Vincent and how he visualises objects by touch to get a picture in his mind (tracks 7-8).
