DescriptionInterview with Theresa Edwards from Manchester and Melanie Pickup from Northfield in Birmingham, students at Harborne. Theresa talks about St Vincent's, the school for blind children they attended in Liverpool, some of the teachers, taking cookery classes and providing meals for others. She also talks about the lack of many leisure activities and other freedoms at Harborne and her relationship with some of the teachers there. Both girls talk about the pocket money they receive and compare their training with the focused engineering training that some of the boys are receiving. Theresa talks about the specific issues associated with having partial sight (tracks 1-5).

Mr Pickup talks about the awareness that people with partial sight or those who have lost their sight have about losing the ability to do things they took for granted before (track 6).
