The young people take turns to recite extracts from the verbatim accounts of children to the Child Employment Commission (1842) in their own Yorkshire accents, with a lot of direction from Charles Parker. The extracts are about the being a 'trapper' in a mine.

Tracks 11 - 12: Actuality with an elderly Silkstone resident, Mrs Dalton, and Charles Parker. Mrs Dalton speaks about her memories sof the local area and community. She describes how she left school to go 'into service', and she jovially recounts going 'mumming' (performing in traditional local folk plays) as a young woman and how she had to go secretly as her and her friends' parents would not let them go out at night.
