Tracks 7 - 12: Actuality with a young man, Michael Trafford, and Charles Parker in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. The young man recites extracts from the verbatim accounts of children to the Child Employment Commission (1842) in his own Yorkshire accents, directed by Parker who records multiple takes. From track 9 another, unidentified, young man reads the same extracts. The extracts are about the experiences of a young boy working in the coal mines.
