Tracks 1-5: man gives an account of his experiences during the events of 'Bloody Sunday', describing being shot at by British soldiers, his friend being shot in the leg, and his shock at seeing people being shot. He talks about attending the demonstration against the internment of political prisoners, the attitude of the police towards the demonstrators, and remembers stones being thrown by a small minority of the crowd. Another man joins the conversation to describe his shock at the behaviour of the British soldiers on 'Bloody Sunday' and how the events of that day alienated him from the policies of the British government. He talks about his cousin being shot and killed on that day.

Tracks 20-24: A recording with Eleanor Dalton at the community hall on the Creggan estate in Derry, 28 January 1973. She talks about the presence of British paratroopers in her Belfast Catholic neighbourhood, the sealing off of the local area and her relatives being searched, and the raiding of her father's pub. She talks about the resentment of British soldiers amongst people who have had their homes and business premises raided and have been harrassed, and goes on to discuss her experiences working in England and Northern Ireland and the different attitudes she noticed towards religious differences between the two countries.
