Tracks 1-3: A man gives an address to delegates from Britain on how military rule in Northern Ireland is affecting people, emphasising the need for the repeal of repressive legislation, especially the Special Powers Act, and explaining how working class people in the trade union movement and the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association have been affected by the political situation.
Track 4: A man gives an account of being shot 1.23 mins
Tracks 5-7: Another man gives an account of being arrested, beaten, and interrogated because he was suspected of being a member of the provisional IRA
Track 8-9: A woman gives an address on possible solutions to the social and political problems in Northern Ireland
Tracks 10-15: Philip Donnellan interviews a number of people about the current political situation in Northern Ireland. Sound quality is very poor, and most of the conversation is inaudible.
Tracks 16-18: Interview at Bogside community hall, Derry. A woman gives an account of the events she witnessed on 'Bloody Sunday' and talks about her family background, her father's long term unemployment and his experiences of discrimination when seeking work, and her social activities.
Tracks 19-23: A girl discusses her views about emigration, witnessing British army manouvres outside her school and the arguments she has had with other people about their presence. She talks about her plans for her future education and career, her view that people in England and America are ignorant of events in Derry, and the extent of routine contact that people have with soldiers. A man joins the conversation and a group of people talk about the events of 'Bloody Sunday', their experiences and relationships with the people who were killed
