This is the second part of the recording of a planning meeting for Banner Theatre's Women's Project. Bob Etheridge, Charles Parker, Chris (Rogers ?), Dave Rogers and unidentified women discuss a range of issues.
Women's employment experiences before and during World War Two are considered in Track 1. Differences between Birmingham and the Black Country are identified and reference is made to the Tucker switchgear factory in Birmingham. Wage rates for women are discussed in Tracks 2 - 3.
Tracks 4 -5 deal mainly with discussions as to how issues should be addressed in a women's show. Ideas for the use of a 'mumming play' form are considered in Tracks 9 - 11.
