Tracks 4 - 8: Actuality recorded in Battersea Park, London, with two Bangladeshi teenage boys and Charles Parker. The recording begins with the sound of a game being played in the background. The young men give biographical details about when they moved to London from Sylhet, Bangladesh. One of the young men moved to Harrogate in Yorkshire first before moving to Aldgate in London. The discussion moves on to how the young men learnt English and what they know and think about the area they have now moved into.

Tracks 9 - 13: Actuality with a young (white, English) man in Tower Hamlets and Charles Parker. They discuss the lack of exposure that young people in the East End have to nature and the rest of the country. He comments on his impressions of Bengali culture. He speaks about romantic relationships in the Bengali community and racism. They talk about Brick Lane as being a centre of the Bangladeshi community and of the racist British movements as well. The young man (given on box as 'John Newbigin') speaks about the parallels between the Brick Lane Jewish and Bangladeshi communities.
