Mrs Kirby remembers the Jewish children she used to mix with. The couple discuss the prejudice against foreign workers in the area when they were younger. Mrs Kirby speaks about the youth clubs and activities that were supported by the Greater London Council and the events that were put on by young people in places such as Toynbee Hall in her youth (1930s or 1940s).
