Howlett also describes the places she has lived in Whitechapel and Stepney, and the differences between the communities. Howlett talks about why she began playing truant from school, and what she would do instead of attending lessons. Kelly speaks about his experiences of changing schools and playing truant. Howlett speaks about her Irish parents and their history. Kelly and Howlett talk about their London identity. The two speak about the different ways of teaching in the schools they have attended and the educational establishment/ youth club 'The Crypt'. They describe their aspirations to work on the sea, as a chef and in the Merchant Navy. They discuss the proposed regeneration of the docks area, and youth clubs in their area.
