DescriptionTracks 1 - 8: Actuality with a youth worker (Paul Daly) from Whitechapel in London and Charles Parker in a noisy environment. Daly speaks about criminal activity and abuse at his school when he was younger. He speaks about serving time at Holloway prison when he was 19 years old, and his opinions on the police in his area. Daly and Parker discuss the contemporary government and politics. Daly has strong views about this and swears a lot. Daly accuses Parker of being a member of the National Front (nationalistic political party) and they discuss exploitation of the political system with reference to Dennis Healey and Margaret Thatcher. He talks about the punks in his area. Daly talks about whether he feels like he belongs in Britain, and discusses the condition of country socially and economically. This actuality contains racially abusive and sexually explicit words.

Tracks 9 - 10: Actuality with a youth worker ('Derek Cox' according to notes on the box) and Charles Parker. Cox speaks about how the population of Brick Lane has changed in his lifetime, and in his opinion it has become less 'rough'. He also talks about the difference between the 'West side' of Tower Hamlets (Spitalfields) and the other parts of Tower Hamlets, London. Cox talks about his impressions of the Banglaeshi migration to Spitalfields, London, in the 1960s. He talks about racist attacks increasing against Asian people and decreasing against black people at the time in his opinion. Cox also describes the effect on communities of slum clearance projects in his opinion.
