Tracks 4 - 10: Actuality with Lyn, a young Londoner and her colleague, and Charles Parker. They speak about their work in youth employment in Tower Hamlets. They talk about a reluctance by young people from the East End to travel to different parts of London for work and speculate about the reasons for this. The two women talk about the decreasing employment opportunities and declining industries in the East End. They also talk about retailers moving away from the East End, and shop closures. The two women speak about the academic requirements for youth getting jobs, and make reference to the recruitment policy of the Greater London Council (GLC).

Tracks 11 - 12: Actuality with a young man and Charles Parker in a noisy club atmosphere. The young man speaks about the Isle of Dogs with reference to its 'Unilateral Declaration of Independence' (UDI) in the 1970s. He speaks about the future of the London Docklands and the Isle of Dogs.
